The SDC, as the only entity authorized to register ownership of securities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, worked on designing and building a central registry to record and safe-keep ownership of securities on a central electronic database that includes documenting ownership of securities for each issuer separately, registering and opening securities accounts, and identifying investors using the unique investor number (SDC number), the SDC has completed the registration of all securities issues of the public shareholding companies with a rate of (100%).
