Association of Global Custodians- AGC

The association of 12 global custodian banks that are major providers of securities custody and trade settlement services to institutional investors worldwide. The association primarily seeks to address regulatory issues that are of common interest its members.

International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO)

The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) is the international body that brings together the world's securities regulators and is recognized as the global standard setter for the securities sector. IOSCO develops, implements, and promotes adherence to internationally recognized standards for securities regulation. It works intensively with the G20 and the Financial Stability Board (FSB) on the global regulatory reform agenda.

Arab Federation of Capital Markets – AFCM

The Arab Federation of Capital Markets was established to be the guiding body for the Arab stock exchanges under the recommendation of the Arab Central Banks Conference, held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan The Federation was set up to contribute to the “development of regulations and promoting harmonized and proactive legislations, and exchanging viewpoints and providing opportunities for cooperation among members”. The AFCM is the Arab industry group for exchanges and Clearing houses (CSD’s), and multiple of affiliate members (financial institutions, brokerage firms) from all around the Arab regions (GCC, Levant and Arab African countries).

Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges – FEAS

This federation aims to reduce the barriers between the members' countries and enhance their cooperation to trade across borders. The membership of the SDC in the federation is as a partner.

Africa & Middle East Depositories Association -AMEDA

A non-profit organization aims mainly to be the forum for the exchange of information and experience between its members, the central depositories in various parts of Africa and the Middle East, where the SDC is considered one of the association's founders. The membership of the SDC in the federation is a full member.

Association of National Numbering Agencies -ANNA

This association is fully committed to proactively promoting, implementing, maintaining and making available standards for securities and related financial instruments in a uniform and accurate structure for the benefit of their home markets and of the securities industry as a whole. It is considered as registration and maintenance authority of international standards, the International Securities Identification Number – ISIN (ISO 6166), Classification of Financial Instruments - CFI (ISO 10962), and Financial Instrument Short Name – FISN (ISO 18774) that are enacted according to rules and regulations set out by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The SDC has been a member of the (ANNA) since 2004 and has been recognized as the sole numbering agency in Jordan for the assignment of (ISIN), (CFI) and (FISN).
