Subject: Working Hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan

Kindly be informed that the SDC working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan will be from 09:30 AM till 03:00 PM.
According to the provisions of Article (150) of the Registration, Deposit and Settlement of Securities Regulations, kindly be informed that the deadlines set under the provisions of articles (93) and (95) of the Regulations for the payment of amounts due to brokers for the settlement will be modified to become (10:15) AM instead of (9:00) AM throughout the month of Ramadan. These appointments will be back to normal after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Since the operation of the RTGS-JO, according the CBJ’s memo no.(21/2017) dated 16/05/2017, will start at 9:45 AM all the brokers are kindly requested to verify with their banks the necessity of paying their remittances for the settlement accounts by 10:15 AM of each working day.
The official working and settlement hours will be back to normal after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
