On Sunday 18/10/2020 the SDC completed the process the process of registering the share capital increase of (1,000,000) shares of Al Safwa Insurance Public Limited Company.

The share capital increase is performed through non-public offering and allocating these shares to the shareholders mentioned in the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC)’s letter no. (2/1/1734/20) dated 06/10/2020 provided that these shares are under lock-up for one year from the completion date of the issuance procedures at the JSC.

Thereby, the SDC records of Al Safwa Insurance Public Limited Company indicates the raise of its capital from (4,000,000) shares to a registered capital of (5,000,000) shares as a result of the mentioned share capital increase.

The above mentioned procedure is conducted based upon the company's General Assembly's resolution made in its extraordinary meeting held on 15/03/2020 which was granted the approval of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply on 21/09/2020, and upon the approval of the Jordan Securities Commission on the Share Capital Increase issued on 04/10/2020.
