The Securities Depository Center (SDC) represented by Mr. Najd Al-Najdawi, Director of “Members and Securities” Department participated in the meetings of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchange (FEAS), which were held in Yerevan – Armenia. These meetings included the General Assembly (GA) meeting and ConFEAS.

During the Thirty-seventh General Assembly meeting which was held on 14/06/2023 with participation of executives of the stock exchanges of the members of the federation from more than 20 countries, FEAS members elected FEAS Chairman, FEAS Vice-Chairman, FEAS Working Committee Chairman, FEAS Working Committee Vice-Chairman, eleven new board members, and four new audit committee members. The results of election were as follows: (9) full members: Amman Stock Exchange, and Bucharest Stock Exchange (Chairman), and Muscat Stock Exchange (Vice-Chairman), and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (Working Committee Chairman), and Athens Stock Exchange (Working Committee Vice-Chairman), and Armenia Securities Exchange, and Tehran Stock Exchange, and Iran Fara Bourse and Palestine Exchange. The GA also elected (2) affiliate members: EBRD and Tehran Securities Exchange Technology Management Company (TSETMC).

Members of the audit committee were also elected, which included the Central Depository of Armenia, and the Republican Stock Exchange Toshkent, and the Central Securities Depository of Iran and Iranian Institutional Investors Association.

On the other hand, the (ConFEAS) event which was held during the period 15-16/06/2023 discussed many topics related to trading, post-trade services, environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, and public relations.
