On Monday 22/04/2024 the SDC completed the process of registering the share capital increase of (7,000,000) shares of the Union Tobacco & cigarette Industries Company.

The share capital increase of the said amount reflects converting the debts of the Union Investment Corporation to the amount of issued shares.

Thereby, the SDC records of the Union Tobacco & cigarette Industries Company indicates the raise of its capital from (9,963,089) shares to a registered capital of (16,963,089) shares as a result of the mentioned share capital increase.

The above mentioned procedure is conducted based upon the company's General Assembly's resolution made in its extraordinary meeting held on 21/12/2023 which was granted the approval of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply on 30/01/2024, and upon the approval of the Jordan Securities Commission on the share capital increase issued on 16/04/2024.
