On Sunday 21/02/2021 the SDC completed the process of registering the share capital increase of (1,600,000) shares of the Al Safwa Insurance Public Limited Company.

The share capital increase of the said amount reflects non-public offering by allocating these shares to the shareholders mentioned in the decision of the company’s Board of Directors no. 2/1/102/21 dated 18/01/2021 provided that these shares are under lock-up for one year from the completion date of the issuance procedures at the JSC.

Thereby, the SDC records of the Al Safwa Insurance Public Limited Company indicates the raise of its capital from (5,000,000) shares to a registered capital of (6,600,000) shares as a result of the mentioned share capital increase.

The above mentioned procedure is conducted based upon the company's General Assembly's resolution made in its extraordinary meeting held on 06/12/2020 which was granted the approval of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply on 16/12/2020, and upon the approval of the Jordan Securities Commission on the share capital increase issued on 13/01/2021.
