On Monday 29/06/2020 the SDC completed the process of decreasing the share capital of (3,060,000) JOD/share of the Specialized Jordanian Investments Company with a 68 percent. 

The share capital decrease was conducted based upon the company's General Assembly's resolution made in its extraordinary meeting held on 13/02/2020 which was granted the approval of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply on 18/06/2020. This procedure was conducted through:

1. Decreasing the share capital of (1,440,000) JOD to redeem the accumulated losses as of 31/12/2019. The share capital decrease of the said amount will result in decreasing the registered capital from (4,500,000) shares to (3,060,000) shares.
2. Distributing (1,620,000) JOD as stock dividends to the shareholders of the Company. The share capital decrease of the said amount will result in decreasing the registered capital from (4,500,000) shares to (3,060,000) shares.

Thereby, the SDC record of the Specialized Jordanian Investments Company indicates the decrease of its capital from (4,500,000) JOD/share to a registered capital of (1,440,000) JOD/share as a result of the mentioned share capital decrease.
