Subject: Completion of the Share Capital Decrease of the Central Electricity Generating Co.
Greetings,
Kindly be informed that the SDC has completed the process of decreasing the share capital of (27,000,000) JOD/share of the Central Electricity Generating Company on Tuesday 08/08/2023 as this amount is in excess of its needs and distributes this excess cash to the shareholders.
The share capital decrease was conducted based upon the company's General Assembly's resolution made in its extraordinary meeting held on 10/04/2023 and upon the approval of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply on the share capital decrease issued on 18/07/2023.
The share capital decrease of the said amount will result in decreasing the registered capital from (30,000,000) shares to (3,000,000) shares.
