| Within the SDC’s direction to enhance communication with investors and expanding the base of electronic services provided to them, we are pleased to inform you that the SDC has finished developing a service to provide text messages via mobile phones for investors (SMS), and will work in the coming period to launch the first phase of this project, which will depend on the issuance of messages related to the completion of trades in the Amman Stock Exchange, with the objective of sending text messages regarding all types of transactions completed on the investors’ accounts, from securities transfers, corporate actions and other transactions. | |
| As partners of the capital market institutions in relation to market development and services provided to investors, and since you represent the main communication channel between investors and capital market institutions, we urge you to give this new service important consideration and as such communicate with your clients for the purposes of updating their data entered by you on the SDC’s database, and in particular, your clients' mobile phone numbers. | |
| In this regard, and as the SDC seeks to activate the texting service via mobile phones (SMS) within the coming period, we would like to inform you that providing this service will be through mobile phone numbers entered within the permanent address of the investor. Please enter and update mobile phone numbers for your clients in the investor’s permanent address entered on the SDC’s electronic systems intended for your use. | |
