The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) held its 39th Extraordinary General Assembly meeting on Thursday, 19 September 2024, in Orchid, North Macedonia. The SDC participated through the Head of the Registration Department, Mr. Najd Al-Najdawi, via audio and video communication.

The meeting aims to bring together experts from around the world in financial markets, stock exchanges, banks, regulatory bodies, investment companies and others to discuss the latest developments and opportunities in the financial markets.

During the meeting, several topics were discussed related to the restructuring of the FEAS including the proposal submitted by the Federation’s General Secretariat to expand the basis of membership in the Federation, change the name of the Federation, and make the necessary legislative amendments to the internal regulations of the Federation. Also, topics related to the infrastructure of financial markets and mechanisms for developing capital markets were addressed by unifying efforts under the umbrella of FEAS, and providing a unified and strong platform that works to enhance the scope and influence of each member, ensuring the strengthening of relations that lead to influential and long-term investment partnerships.
