The Jordan capital market (JCM) institutions received a student delegation from Philadelphia University/ Banking and Finance Department on 03/11/2016 to had general view about the institutions of capital market and its responsibility and role in enhancing investment in securities.

Mr. Khalil Naser the CEO presented a comprehensive view about SDC establishment and its various tasks “safekeeping, depositing, transferring of securities. Delivery versus Payment was explained as fundamental international principle embodied in clearing and settlement tasks, hereby delivery of sold securities is against payment of funds.

An open fruitful discussion related to all aspects of the Jordan capital market and its institutions functions where the last stage of the delegation visit.

It is worth mentioning that the institutions of (JCM) receive several national and international student delegations to establish the culture of investment in addition to communicate with all segments of society nationally and internationally.
