The SDC represented by Head of Software Development Section, Mrs. Sana Al Shawish, and representative of the Research Department, Ms. Basma Shihabi, participated in the 26th meeting of FEAS, which was held in Abu Dhabi - UAE on 27/10/2018. The meeting was attended by (23) members.

The General Assembly discussed many key issues in the meeting. A brief report on the works that have been conducted in 2018 and are planned for 2019 was presented; the 2019 audit report was approved. Also, a new external auditor for FEAS was approved.

With regard to the membership issues, it was decided to approve the full membership status of Astana International Exchange, and approve Uzbek Commodity Exchange as an observer. In addition to change the membership status of Iran Mercantile Exchange from full member to observer.

Based on the previous candidacy announcements, elections were conducted for Chair, Vice Chair, and nine Board members for the Federation. The election results were as follows: Muscat Securities Markets (Chair), Athens Stock Exchange (Vice Chair), Athens Stock Exchange, Muscat Securities Markets, Egyptian Exchange, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, Palestine Stock Exchange, Nadaq OMX Armenia, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Central Securities Depository of Iran (Board Members).

As for the Audit Committee, the elections results were as follows: Tehran Stock Exchange, and Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The SDC delegation also participated in the FEAS conference which was held during 28-29/10/2018.
