The SDC represented by Mr. Fadi Sodah, Head of Communication & Technical Support Section and Mrs. Sana’ Al Shawish, Head of Software Development Section, participated in the 24th meeting of AMEDA (3rd training), which was held in Sharm El Sheikh - Egypt on 22-25/11/2016. The meeting was attended by (20) members from securities depository centers and stock exchanges in the AMEDA, in addition to experts and senior officials from relevant institutions.

During the meeting, several issues related to the information technology field were discussed including cyber-crime, emerging trends and cyber security threats, new trends in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, block chain and its impact on CSDs, the power of artificial intelligence, and the principles of effective project management in the implementation of IT systems, all of that according to the international standards issued by CPMI-IOSCO.
